Ava was voted “Blues/Pop/Rock Soloist Outstanding Performance (Undergraduate College) in the 2024 National Downbeat Student Music Awards.
MONTEREY JAZZ FESTIVAL | 66th ANNUAL | SEP 22-24, 2023
Ava was selected as the vocalist for the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra (NGJO) at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Each year the festival selects 20 of the most accomplished high school jazz musicians across the country to form the NGJO. They will perform on the main stage Sep 24th at 12:30 pm.

HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUTS | 2023
Ava won Top Stage Performance for the 2023 High School Standout Awards. The ceremony is all about sharing the stories and triumphs of Northeast Ohio’s High School students on and off the field. The event recognizes dedication, teamwork, perseverance, and passion in the classroom, on the field and outside the community.

BEST OF CLASS | SOLON HIGH SCHOOL 2023
Ava represented Solon High School for the Best of Class 2023 valedictorians, graduating with a 4.7 GPA. She was a semi-finalist for the 2023 U.S. Presidential Scholar Award in the Arts. Through the college credit plus program, Ava earned an Associates Degree in Music at Cuyahoga Comminity College. She will enter Kent State University as a senior.

national Youngarts foundation | finalist voice: jazz | 2023
Ava is a YoungArts Finalist and Silver Award Winner for Voice/Jazz in the 2023 National YoungArts Competition.
Finalist winners are invited to participate in a week-long intensive program in Miami where they will perform and have their work further evaluated for awards up to $10,000.
